Studio Friday This is a pastel covered hand-a.k.a. my drawing hand. My fingernails are usually dirty. I do try to clean them, but there always seems to be some residual grit that I just cant seem to get out. Ah the life of an artist...Always creating but never clean!

Hi Chris...you have been tagged...see my post on...Tagged for the very....
so colorful, messy hands are the sign of a happy artist!
if my art couldlook like this i wouldn't mind dirty fingernails! Can we see the finished piece?
your hand...a beautiful work of art itself!
blessed hand!
Ohhh nice - you have the 'good pastels'. I am so envious.... the kind that are so soft that they melt like butter on the paper. Beautiful bright work!!
I don't know that it would be possible to paint or draw or really "do" any kind of art without getting something messy on our hands!
Great post.
gorgeous colors on your hands!
I love your work. So full of color
beautiful! And your picture is so full of color!
OMG! What great colors! Beautiful SF!
Beautiful work, such a great use of color!
spectacular artwork ~ verve and scrumptiousness!
Beautiful work, and a great intrepretation of this week's theme. I agree that the depth of color here is great, and I want to see your finished peice as well. *grin*
such brilliant colors! messy/stained hands are wonderful evidence of a creative mind at work. love it.
Love that splash of colour!
All too often we forget to appreciate our most precious tools; our hands! We so SO MUCH with them yet give them little or no thought. I think today's entry for Studio Friday is a great tribute to recognise that which enables us to create! Have a great weekend! I look forward to next Friday's journey!!

The picture of an artists hand! There's nothing like getting your hands into your work, literally.
Love the beautiful colors and the sentiment behind your drawing and your hands that created it.
Your pastel drawings all look so beautiful! I love the colors you use! I have drawn a few pastels myself, but I don´t dare to do that at home because of all that colorful dust... I´m afraid it will settle everywhere *lol*. Ah, and the feeling of the dust on my fingers sometimes gives me goosebumps...brrr. Hee, hee.
